Mildren AMSOIL is a reseller of AMSOIL synthetic lubricant products manufactured by AMSOIL in Wisconsin USA. Whilst selling AMSOIL for many years prior, in 2018 Mildren AMSOIL became the sole South Australian distributor and operates from a warehouse nestled quietly in the Adelaide Hills.
Owned and managed by founder Greg Mildren, Greg takes great pride in offering innovative quality solutions and helpful friendly advice to his customers. Whether you are an enthusiast, domestic, commercial or industrial consumer, Greg will provide a product solution with performance and protection advantages in mind, as well as a reduced environmental impact.
Greg has been personally using AMSOIL since the late 1980’s, after local racing legend and AMSOIL dealer Peter Hall recommended he used it in his race car. Over the years Greg has extended his use of AMSOIL into his road cars, drag cars and more recently farm equipment including small engine, stationary engine, UTV’s (utility terrain vehicle), mowers and tractors.

OUR HISTORY
Greg Mildren was apprenticed as an electronic technician in the Australian defence industry with training in fitting & turning, sheet metal, electrical, mechanical & electronic drafting. He gained a valuable respect and appreciation for quality and assurance learning advanced “best practice” production techniques to international quality standards. After completing a trade apprenticeship course in automotive mechanical concurrently with an electronic technician apprenticeship, Greg left the defence industry to begin his true passion of rotary engines and motorsport, starting a business specialising in Mazda rotary engine vehicles.
He started Mildren Automotive in 1991 in Thebarton, South Australia as a Mazda rotary specialist and evolved into a workshop building the best rotary engines, gearboxes and cars in the local market. Providing a “one stop shop” of mechanical services including advanced engine tuning, suspension and brakes for Mazda rotary engine vehicles. Greg actively participated in circuit car racing at Adelaide International Raceway and Mallala Motorsport Park and the business grew out of his relentless pursuit of excellence on the race-track; always striving for better performance, both personally and in his equipment. He won many races, championships and set lap records at race tracks in South Australia.
After over 20 years of successful automotive business history and experience in Thebarton, Greg now solely manages & operates all facets of a business supporting and supplying the Mazda rotary owner from his workshop in the Adelaide Hills. Greg continues to be involved with Rotary enthusiasts all over Australia and beyond.
In South Australia, the Greg Mildren name is well known and respected amongst Mazda rotary owners, automotive service and repair workshops, trade suppliers as well as major automotive representative bodies, the MTA and the RAA.
